Welcome
Howdy! We're glad you stopped by to check us out. Our website is constantly being modified to fit the different needs of our customers, as well as new products or research that is being conducted. Since we are just starting and don't know what we are doing, our website is pretty simple -- pages might be incomplete, links might not work, the store doesn't have products, etc. We will figure it out! In the mean time, enjoy what we do have and we hope you appreciate that we are willing to figure out building this bad boy by ourselves with no prior knowledge.
Under Construction!!!
Our Process
Everything we do at 3One Farms begins with composting our cow manure. Since it can take up to a year to break down, we have got to be forward thinking, even if our forward thinkingness is somewhat incomplete. From there, we mix different ingredients in our research lab to find optimal growth for different plants, vegetables, flowers, and whatever else we can think of.

Compost
Our cow manure is sourced from our location and strategically placed in various piles that are then monitored throughout the entire composting process. Piles are cared for as needed to maintain a thermophilic state, which is said to be a necessary component to kill harmful pathogens and weed seeds. After maintaining a thermophilic state for some time, typically a month or two, the piles enter into a mesophilic state where they continue to break down at cooler temperatures. More in-depth science and technique about our composting can be found in the education section for our members!
Seeds
We have many goals out here on the farm, and one of those is growing all of our plants from seeds. Of course, we had to start off with seeds from somewhere, but from those plants we have harvested seeds in order to keep them in an heirloom status. Being able to do this allows for plant varieties to become acclimated to our environment and also helps us identify certain varieties that have more desired traits -- we know what we're getting vs just some ol' seeds from the store.

Research
Research is essential at 3One Farms for several reasons. The most important being that our customers are also going to be using this product, so we need to see if it works! Not only that, but if there were a one-size-fits-all, then there wouldn't be so many different types of soils at the store. We believe in optimal growth zones, and we develop soils that cater towards these zones. Research can be accessed once membership is placed!
