3One Farms' Privacy Policy

It seems that there is a lot of fear surrounding the creation of a privacy policy, which is evident by the legalistic language and the difficulty of getting advice on how to write one. Everybody is scared to death to get sued – it’s amazing. So, what does one do when that happens? Well, one might take the reigns and write their own using the logic and reasoning skills that God gave them – which is exactly the autonomy we strive for at 3One Farms. Speaking of autonomy, that is exactly how we built our website, which brings us to our next section.

Website Autonomy

We have designed our website to function without the input of any information on behalf of the user, which is YOU, and the following paragraphs will describe how you can do just that.

Home

The sole purpose of our “Home” tab on our website is to describe, briefly, a few of the different functions that we have going on around the farm on any given day. Towards the bottom of this page, we have four different research categories – Floral, Plants, Vegetables, And More! – that link to our “Memberships” page. This is because we have made our research only accessible to our members. More on our memberships in the “Memberships” section.

Products

Our “Products” page has the sole purpose of advertising the different products that we are making available online, although they might not be all the products that we have. It is 3One Farms’ choice, and only our choice, to add or remove any products as we wish, and is on the part of the user, which is YOU, to check back periodically to see whether this has occurred or not.

The user, which is YOU, needs to know that purchasing through our website is NOT something that is necessary if YOU desire to have our products. We can be reached through our phone number, email, or social media accounts that we make available and easily accessible on the footer of our website, among other places. From there, purchases can be made in person, over the phone, or even at the various locations our products can be found, which can be found in the “Locations” section of this policy.

In sum, purchasing through our website is not necessary to acquire our products! However, please note and be aware… the exchange of information will need to occur at some point. That is just simply how it works.

Projects

Our “Projects” page is designed to show the different projects that we have done around the farm. It isn’t an exhaustive list, but its purpose is pretty self-explanatory.

Locations

Our “Locations” page is for YOU to pinpoint the nearest 3One Farms dealer, if located outside of our general area. All it is, is a Google Map with different pins dropped at different locations – this will be modified often according to our product becoming available, or unavailable, at these locations. Be advised that Google will have its own Privacy Policy and Terms, and possibly others, that you might need to be aware of before using their app. Also note that this map is interactive and you can get directions to whichever location you desire, which will require the input of information on your behalf.

Memberships

Our “Memberships” page is our invitation to the public to become more than just customers and to engage on a deeper level. Note that there is no exchange of information on this page, however, clicking any of the links will take the individual to either our “Side Cart” or “Checkout” page. If interested in becoming a member, information will be exchanged at that point, which will be discussed in the Member(ships) section below, under the Website Dependency section header.

Also note that memberships do not have to be placed on the website; they can also be purchased in person. As stated earlier, the exchange of information is inevitable at some point because that is just simply how it works.

Gallery

Our “Gallery” is just to show off some of the pictures and videos that we take around our farm on any given day. Because we grow a variety of species, we want to share it with whoever decides to view this particular page.

Contributors

Our “Contributors” page exists for those who have helped, or will help us, in the various things that we do. It is to give them recognition, and any information on this page has been approved by the individual or representative of another entity. If any information on this page needs to be added or deleted, it is up to the contributor to inform 3One Farms, to which 3One Farms will then take the appropriate action.

About

Our “About” section simply contains some of the various statements and conditions that the government says we have to have, including this policy and ways to contact us, if there weren’t already enough opportunities to do so. This section, as with any other, can be modified at any time without 3One Farms notifying the public of the changes.

Website Dependency

At 3One Farms, we have attempted to create a website that functions where individuals can browse with autonomy. However, for those that wish to purchase memberships, we have attempted to create a website that functions harmoniously with your information, as opposed to collecting it in a malicious manner.

User Profile

In the header on the top right, there is a place where individuals can create an account once they go through the “Open Gate”. Once going this route, the individual expresses intentionality as any information is provided willingly. The user, YOU, will be prompted to either “Log In” or “Sign Up”. By signing up, agreement to our privacy policy is acknowledged, which is the document that you are currently reading. We have attempted to make logging in and signing up secure by adding a reCAPTCHA, ensuring that the sign in is not robotic.

Sign-up

If one desires to sign-up on our website, there is no benefit by doing so, unless purchasing a membership from the “Memberships” page; it is encouraged to browse anonymously. However, if one has a desire to sign-up without purchasing a membership, then there is an acknowledgement of two things: 1) an approval email will be sent to 3One Farms’ Admin and approval will be given or rejected, which is not bound by any period of time, and 2) there are still restrictions to the profile unless that individual purchases a membership. Also note that nothing can be purchased without making an account due to the linking of emails for confirmations, etc.

The submission of an email will potentially be saved in case it matters in the future. If there is a concern about it, the individual, which is YOU, can always email support@3onefarms.com and request that we delete any information that we might have for your individual account.

Your login information will be saved, if you agree in whatever web browser you might be using, so signing in and out will be simple. Note that 3One Farms doesn’t know, or care, about your password, and we are definitely not sharing it with anybody – that we know of.

Member(ships)

3One Farms’ memberships can be found on the “Memberships” page. Clicking “Add to Cart” will bring up the side cart menu, to which the user would then be able to go to the “Checkout” page for purchase. If this route is desired, then we will need to keep some of your information on file so that we can apply the appropriate perks for when that time comes. Also, because perks are designed to increase over time, it is imperative that we keep track so YOU get the most of your membership. Some things that we will need to keep track of: Name and a contact method (either email, phone, or both). We will also keep track of your membership date so we can ensure annual payment and discounts are applied appropriately. We do NOT keep your credit card on file in the same way that we keep your name, phone, and/or email, so payment will need to be made when the renewal comes the following year. However, your browser might ask if you want to save your information for easier checkout next time – this is up to YOU, the user, and 3One Farms has no control over what YOU decide to do. It would probably be better if you didn’t allow your information to be saved at all.

For more information on membership renewals, please view our “Plan Policy” found in the footer of our checkout page when this membership is in the cart for purchase – it doesn’t seem like it shows up any other way than if the membership is in the cart.

Side Cart

Our “Side Cart” is a quarter window that shows up once a brief overview of items that the YOU have added. It is interactive and can be adjusted according to how one might desire. There is also an option to view an entire page cart, if desired. Once satisfied with items, clicking the “checkout” button will prompt the user to the next screen where all of there information will need to be input.

Checkout

In order to checkout, an account will need to be made. This is because we send confirmation emails out once a product is purchased. Our “Checkout” page is a typical page that one might find using various websites. However, there is a slight difference in how our product will reach your door. As it currently sits, we do not ship, simply because it is not feasible. The cost to ship our bags it outrageous and we are not willing to do that. So, we have made a compromise and YOU have the option of “Local Delivery”, “Texas/Oklahoma” delivery, or “Pickup”.

Local Delivery

We define local delivery as an area within 50 miles of our home base. Also, we have a $25.00 delivery fee for this to cover the various expenses that go along with a vehicle.

Texas/Oklahoma

Our Texas/Oklahoma delivery area isn’t really set by a geographical boundary and can be modified as we see necessary. The fee for this is currently set at $150 but it will be based on mileage.

Pickup

If delivery is not an option, we have provided a way for customers to pick up from our location for free. Please note that we would need to be here in order for that to be done.

Whichever method, the input of information would be necessary. It is just that the extent of information would vary based on which option one might choose.

Payment

Your card information would need to be input at some point for the transaction to go through. However, we have also included Apple Pay, PayPal, Venmo, and Google Pay as alternatives to your card, if desired. Be advised that these services will have their own terms and conditions, and possible others that you would need to be aware of. Once satisfying all the fields, your order may be placed.

Header and Footer

Our header and footer should be the same on every page, and we have tried to make it as simple as possible. In our footer, one will find some links to the different policies, as well as ways in which we can be reached via email and phone. Additionally, our social media links can also be found in the footer if checking us our there is something that one might desire to do.

Conclusion

All information on our website is subject to change at any point – products, projects, locations, memberships and membership prices, pictures and videos, contributors, and anything else that we add or remove from this point on. Although we strive to use your information in a responsible manner, it is the internet, and there are people in this world who wish to use your information for evil purposes. By using our website, and the internet in general, you acknowledge that you are aware of this; however, if this is something that you do not wish to happen, it would be better to not even use our website, or the internet at all, and contact us through the methods found in previously mentioned sections.
